The Evidence Based Intervention Training Sessions offer training opportunities in interventions that target the mental health of children, youth, and their families. All interventions offered for training will have:

• A manualized design that ensures fidelity of delivery.
• An evaluation process for prospective course leaders to measure their learning.
• An evaluation process for participants in the intervention to provide feedback to the course leader.

In addition, the EBI Training Institute will classify each course it offers according to the following criteria:

Gold Standard Interventions
Interventions that have demonstrated positive findings based on a systematic review of well-designed research studies.

Effective Interventions
Interventions that have demonstrated positive findings, based on one or more well designed, peer-reviewed studies.

New and Promising Interventions
Interventions that are based on approaches with demonstrated effectiveness, and are in the process of conducting a well designed study.

Right from the Start Training

COPEing with toddlers Behaviour is an 8-session parenting course, appropriate for parents of 2-4 year olds, especially those at risk for social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties. [Visit Site]

COPE - Community Parenting Education Training
COPE is an 8-12 week parent training program for parents who have children with a variety of disruptive behaviour disorders.

COPEing with Selective Mutism Training
This training program includes a general overview of this special population, as well as effective intervention strategies.
